What is Counselling?

Counselling is a way of helping to find effective ways of coping with problems which may be causing emotional difficulty. It can also be helpful in making life changing decisions. Counselling is not advice, but a safe and confidential environment in which clients can explore their feelings and options, without being judged. Counselling can help towards achieving new goals, and developing more effective ways of coping with those issues which may otherwise seem unmanageable.
