A series of audio tracks  have been recorded by Ros Powell and are available to download free of charge! The techniques, which can help to improve general levels of health, are easy to learn and can prove very effective in helping with a range of problems.

Stop and Go

This track will slowly take you into a very relaxed state, and then even deeper, in order to visualise yourself being able to cope well without resorting to destructive and unhealthy behaviours, and seeing your life on track. It is suitable for people suffering from drug, alcohol or smoking addiction and those with gambling problems. Obsessive Compulsive Disorder sufferers may also benefit, but may need appropriate professional help.  


DO NOT use the track if you still have a high intake of drugs or alcohol. First seek medical advice. Failure to heed this warning can be DANGEROUS. The programme is designed to help prevent relapse once you have controlled or stopped your unwanted behaviour.

Relax on a Tropical Island

This will help you to imagine yourself relaxing on a tropical beach, enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful scenery. Listen to the programme daily for 2 to 3 weeks and on a regular basis after that, to maintain this new and effective skill. Eventually you should be able to relax at any time which can be useful during exams, visiting the dentist, driving tests, interviews etc.


Hundreds of people have benefited from this track. By practicing regularly many are able to develop the skill to such a point that they can relax within a few minutes at any time, anywhere, including bedtime. Comments from clients include:

The soundtrack will take you into a deeply relaxed state and help you to imagine yourself in what you have previously found a difficult situation, then to feel assertive, confident and in control.


Listen to the programme daily for 2 to 3 weeks and on a regular basis after that, to maintain this new and effective skill. You should then be able to enter situations with confidence, without having to listen to the track.

If you can listen to the track regularly for 2 or 3 weeks before your flight, it is possible to feel in control on the day. There are 2 tracks: The first one will help you to visualise yourself feeling confident and relaxed as you prepare for your journey, and also during the flight. On the second track you will hear The Tropical Island Visualisation track, which will help you to relax and overcome any negative feelings you may experience before or after you board your flight.

This is s shorter track which consists of the beginning and end of the Relax on a Tropical Island download. It simply relaxes the body and then wakes you. It is best to use this only when time is

short. After practicing it for a few weeks it may be possible to do the exercise without listening, which means you have the skill with you constantly.
